RECTORY FOR ST. TERESA CHURCH. This redbrick Italianate-style house for the parish priest was built in 1883 at a cost of $2,700. Fr. Amadeus Dambach, born in Baden, Germany, was appointed as the first permanent pastor of the church in 1881 and was the first to dwell in the new parish house. In August 1883, he retired and was replaced by Fr. Dominic Zinsmayer, also born in Baden.

ST. TERESA CEMETERY. This historic cemetery was established in 1853 in the churchyard of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. A recent survey of the cemetery indicates that 940 burials have taken place in the graveyard over the past 16 decades, with approximately 380 burial sites still available. Of the 772 monuments, 73 percent are granite, 23 percent marble, and 3 percent sandstone and 1 percent various metals.
